TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Driver Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Sri Lankan-issued driving license to rent a vehicle from J Dream Rentals. International Driving Permits and foreign licenses are not accepted.

2. Vehicle Use
Vehicles are for personal use only by the renter or an authorized driver named on the booking. Racing, off-roading and any unlawful use are strictly prohibited. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was collected in, with a full fuel tank.

3. Mileage
Cars, vans and SUVs include 100km of travel per day, with an overage charge of $0.30 per additional km. Bikes and tuk tuks come with unlimited mileage.

4. Fines and Violations
The renter is responsible for any fines, tickets or violations incurred during the rental period.

5. Payments
All rental payments are non-refundable except where otherwise agreed at the time of booking.

6. Website Content
This website and its content are provided by J Dream Rentals “as is”. While we try to keep vehicle availability and pricing accurate, please confirm details with us directly before booking.

7. Changes to These Terms
J Dream Rentals may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Please check this page periodically for the latest version. These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

8. Security Deposit and Damage Assessment
A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of booking for every vehicle. Upon return, our team will inspect the vehicle for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing fuel, excess cleaning requirements, or unpaid fines and charges incurred during the rental period. The cost of repairing or covering any such issues will be deducted from the security deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the renter within 7 business days of the vehicle’s return. If the cost of damage or charges exceeds the deposit amount, the renter remains responsible for paying the difference.
