J Dream Tourist Rental Service - Vehicle Rental Return & Refund Policy

At J Dream Tourist Rental Service, we aim to ensure that you have a seamless experience with our vehicle rentals. Below are the terms and conditions that apply to returns and refunds:

1. Vehicle Return

  • Return Time and Location: The vehicle must be returned at the agreed-upon time and location as specified in your rental agreement. If the vehicle is returned later than the scheduled time, additional rental fees may apply.
  • Condition of Vehicle: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented. Any damages, discrepancies, or missing accessories will be charged to the Renter. The vehicle should be returned with a full tank of fuel. If the fuel level is lower than when provided, a refueling charge will apply.

2. Refunds

  • Refund Process: Once the vehicle is returned and inspected, we will notify you regarding the status of your deposit refund. The deposit will be refunded if the vehicle is returned in good condition, with no damages, missing items, or outstanding fees.
  • Refund Amount: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that the refund amount will exclude any charges for damage, fuel, late return, or cleaning.
  • Refund Timeframe: Refunds will be processed within [X] business days after the return of the vehicle. However, the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.

3. Non-Refundable Items and Charges

  • Non-Refundable Charges: Any payments made for the reservation, local license charges (if applicable), and other non-refundable items are not subject to refund.
  • Late Returns: If the vehicle is not returned on time, the Renter will be charged for the additional rental days, including any penalties for delayed return.
  • Damages and Cleaning Fees: If the vehicle is returned in a damaged condition or requires excessive cleaning, these charges will be deducted from the refundable deposit or billed separately.

4. Damaged or Defective Vehicles

If the vehicle is damaged or defective, the Renter must immediately notify J Dream Tourist Rental Service. Depending on the nature of the issue, we will offer a replacement vehicle, arrange for repairs, or issue a refund, depending on the Renter's preference and availability of vehicles.

5. Exchange Policy

If you wish to exchange the vehicle for a different model or type during the rental period, please contact our customer support team. Additional charges may apply, and the exchange is subject to vehicle availability.

6. Return Shipping

Vehicle Drop-off: The vehicle must be returned in person at the designated location. J Dream Tourist Rental Service does not provide return shipping for vehicles unless specifically agreed upon prior to booking.

7. Processing Time

Refunds for refundable deposits will be processed after the vehicle has been inspected and returned in satisfactory condition. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing, and note that it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your payment account.
